Title: Cullman Communications Coordinator / Front Reception
Direct Report: Cullman Campus Pastor

This role will be a 90 day, contract role. Has potential to expand to full time.

I. Purpose of the Job:
Be the “gatekeeper” for the central office and communication ambassador for all things Daystar while performing Cullman administrative tasks.

II. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Open and close DCO office (8 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday)

    • Lock up at the end of the day.

    • Must arrive by and have DCO completely open and ready by 8am

  • Management of the Zoom phone system.

    • Answer calls for all locations.

    • Send email messages to staff members.

    • Change and/or update the message that is received when people call the church.

    • Respond to received voicemails in a timely manner.

  • Stay current on events to effectively cast Daystar vision. This includes our website and all ministries. -Receive & Greet Campus/DCO Guests

  • Post closure notices as needed.

  • Notify staff of deliveries of packages via FEDEX and UPS, USPS.

  • Outgoing mail ~ takes at a certain time. If after that, a staff member needs to take it.

  • Maintain an orderly office

  • Snacks, Coffee and Water ~ stocked and ordered

  • Keep the coffee station filled and clean. Also, keep snacks stocked with water in DCO.

  • Waterway - Machine ~ schedule if needed.

  • Keep & order misc. medicine for staff.

  • Vehicle Reservation / Keys (Melissa)

  • Send out Benevolence Links as needed.

  • Send out Facility Use Links as needed.

  • Send out Biblical Coaching Links/Info as needed.

  • Prayer over the phone

    • Point person for serious Copier issues.

    • Send a printer meter report to Lioce when requested.

Cullman Campus / CC Pastor Tasks

  • Scheduling for Cullman Campus Pastor

  • FTA Card Processing and follow up through TIC

  • Salvation and Rededication follow up through TIC

  • Child Dedication signups

  • Small Groups room reservations

  • Terrace Room and Cullman Campus reservations and deposits

  • Cullman Social Media/Comms upkeep (Facebook, campus newsletter/email)
