Reaching Our World
It’s an exciting time to be a part of Missions at Daystar! Maybe you have a heart for sending children to school in Myanmar or rescuing children in Thailand. Perhaps you feel burdened for the Christians being persecuted in Pakistan and Israel or want to see the Gospel shared for the first time to refugees in Greece. Because of your generosity and compassion, Daystar Church is currently helping to meet the needs in all of these nations!
In addition to service in these countries, we travel to the Philippines to work with children who have significant medical needs. In Uganda, we minister to approximately 1,500 children and partner with over 250 churches on a monthly basis.
We are all called to do God’s good work by reaching the lost. Daystar Church believes that every person, group and family can be involved in missions. To become a part of worldwide generational change and to learn more about our partners, we invite you to explore the following options.
International Missions
We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus and to have a Bible in their native language. Daystar Missions helps to plant new churches worldwide and supports the efforts of missionaries on the field as they provide for orphaned and vulnerable children as well as minister in local congregations of faith.
ONE30 Network
Daystar partners with ONE30 Network to support children in Uganda and the Philippines who are suffering from generational poverty. By donating $30 a month, you can provide for the essential, educational, and economic needs of ONE while dreaming over their future and connecting with your chosen child.

Our Missions Partners
Our missions partners are carrying the Gospel to families in Greece, Honduras, Israel, Mexico, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, and Uganda. Hebrews 13:3 and Galatians 6:2 instruct us to “remember those” who are burdened as if we are there with them. It is an honor to partner with these brave individuals.

International Missions Opportunities

Overview: “FREEDOM Uganda” is our most popular and impactful mission trip of the year—and this time, it’s even more special! In addition to our usual life-changing outreach, this year’s trip will include a historic celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Daystar Cathedral! We are thrilled to announce that our very own Lead Pastors, Jerry and Leslie Lawson, are expected to join us for this unforgettable milestone event. Celebrations in Uganda are vibrant, joyful, and deeply moving—this is one experience you won’t want to miss!
The trip centers around visiting and encouraging all 1,500 children at the schools and orphanages we support across Western Uganda. These moments of connection are the heartbeat of this mission—sharing God’s love with the children through prayer, teaching, laughter, and meaningful conversations.
You’ll also help facilitate the powerful FREEDOM Conference, where students and leaders gather for worship, equipping, and spiritual breakthrough. In addition, the team will take part in a community outreach to minister to children living on the streets and in the drainage systems of Mbarara City, providing food, support, and the message of hope in Christ.
After a full week of ministry, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking water safari on Lake George and a relaxing afternoon at the stunning Mweya Lodge, surrounded by some of Uganda’s most beautiful scenery.

Medical Requirements: A Yellow Fever vaccination is required for this trip and must be obtained before departure (not included in the trip cost).
Physical Requirements: Participants must be able to walk briskly for at least one mile to navigate international airports and should be prepared for light walking on mildly uneven terrain each day.
Age Requirements: 16 and up, unless accompanied by a supervising adult.
Paperwork Requirements: Passport with at least 6 months of validity at the time of return from travel; Daystar missions application; Current background check with Daystar.
Deposit: Deposit: Non-refundable $500 Deposit - Due February 9 (or at the time of sign-up)
Official payment schedule -
Three months out (March) - First payment equal to half the trip cost minus $500 deposit = $1600
Two months out (April) - Second payment equal to the half the remaining balance = $1050
One month out (May) - Third and final payment equal to the remaining quarter of the total cost of the trip = $1050
*Once tickets are purchased, a refund can not be issued.

We have the assurance that when we call upon God our Father, He will listen. No good thing that is accomplished is done without His blessing.
