A Letter From Our Pastor
Dear Daystar Family,
What an incredible year it’s been! 2025 has felt like a season of divine acceleration—where the things we’ve prayed for, planned for, and believed for have begun to take shape right before our eyes. God has been moving through Daystar in powerful ways—opening new doors, deepening our roots, and expanding our reach like never before. Every number in this report represents a miracle, and every miracle points back to the faithfulness of a God who keeps His promises.
We’ve witnessed God’s hand at work across every campus and ministry. From Cullman to Madison, from Hartselle to Uganda, the gospel continues to advance and lives are being transformed daily. More than 2,500 people made decisions for Christ this year—each one a story of redemption and grace. Families are being restored, students are stepping into leadership, and people are discovering their God-given purpose in powerful new ways.
This has also been a year of building—both spiritually and physically. The new Hartselle auditorium is nearing completion, representing far more than concrete and steel; it’s a symbol of faith, vision, and perseverance. In Uganda, we celebrated the grand opening of Lighthouse Primary School and the Daystar Village Home for Children—tangible reminders that our reach now extends around the world. Through your giving, serving, and praying, we are literally helping to raise up the next generation of world changers.
Our mission remains clear: to see community transformation through the love and power of Jesus Christ. We’ve seen the mission come alive through new outreach initiatives, such as Adopt-a-Block and the Choose Life Care Teams, as well as through small groups multiplying across our campuses. Additionally, the launch of our new Daystar School of Ministry is equipping believers to lead and disciple others.
I truly believe God is preparing us for something even greater. As Ephesians 3:20 reminds us, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”—that’s the kind of God we serve. What we’re experiencing is only the beginning of what He desires to do through us.
As you read this report, take time to celebrate what God has done, but also let it stir your faith for what’s next. We are not just building a church; we are building a legacy of faith, hope, and transformation that will echo for generations to come.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20)
This year, we’ve seen God move in ways only He can. Across every ministry and moment, His presence has been evident – transforming lives, restoring hope, and building His church right here in Cullman.
With 125 baptisms and 671 salvations, hearts have been forever changed by the gospel. Our 331 small groups reflect a thriving community centered on discipleship and authentic connection. 177 Next Steps participants took bold action in faith, while an average of 224 Dream Team members served faithfully each week, embodying servanthood as their posture.
Our kids and students have also experienced powerful growth – with 270 children engaging each weekend, 129 students attending midweek, and 55 students growing deeper in their faith through Cullman Student Camp. Even special moments like Kidfest brought together 169 young hearts, celebrating the joy of following Jesus early.
“This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” (Psalm 118:23)
Every number tells a story – a story of faith, transformation, and the marvelous work of God among His people. This is more than what we could ever build on our own. God is clearly at work, and we look ahead with faith, trusting there’s still more eternal impact to come.

This has been a breakthrough year at Daystar Hartselle. Every week we’ve seen lives changed as people encounter Jesus – families restored, marriages healed, and young leaders stepping into their calling.
The hunger for God’s Word is real, and it shows in the faces we see and the stories we hear. The growth is most visible in our kids and students. On Sundays, we are already out of space. That’s why we’re thrilled about what’s ahead: moving into our brand new auditorium in January and transforming our current building into a fully dedicated NextGen space. These steps will give kids and students the room they need to grow in faith and leadership. This year alone, more students than ever are stepping into leadership, and 9 completed our student internship – deepening their faith and preparing to lead the next generation.
But God’s work hasn’t stayed inside our walls. This year our Outreach Team spread His love across Morgan County:
550 Thanksgiving meals delivered to families.
75 foster children blessed with brand new bikes.
130 nursing home residents sponsored at Christmas.
90 volunteers served our city on Serve Day.
Each brick of our new building represents prayer, sacrifice, and vision. What God has started is only the beginning. As we step into this next season, we believe the harvest will be greater than anything we’ve seen before.
The best is yet to come.

This year has been an exciting season of growth for our Hartselle Campus as construction continues on the brand new worship center. The new auditorium, designed to seat 560 people through a combination of floor and riser seating, is projected to be complete by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
In addition to the auditorium, the new building will feature a Next Steps Room, office space for our pastors, a green room for the worship and production teams, a smaller meeting room, and a spacious lobby and café area designed to foster community before and after services. A full suite of men’s and women’s restrooms is also being added to accommodate the growth of the campus.
As of this fall, the interior is being painted, and outside, crews are grading and preparing the parking lot for curb, gutter, and asphalt. Once complete, the new building will allow adults to move into the new worship auditorium, while children’s ministry will take over the current auditorium space. That transition will also make way for an extensive remodel of the existing building, ensuring that every area of the campus is ready to serve families for years to come.
The Hartselle Campus is a living testimony of God’s provision and the faithfulness of His people. With this new facility, we are creating space for more families to encounter Jesus and take their next steps in faith.

God has been moving powerfully at Daystar Madison in 2025! We’ve experienced a remarkable 48% growth in attendance as more people than ever are encountering the hope of Jesus. This year alone, 36 people have gone public with their faith through baptism, and 337 people have made a decision to follow Jesus! Our Kids and Student Ministries are absolutely exploding with life and energy. We’ve launched more small groups at Daystar Madison than at any point in our history, creating spaces for authentic relationships and spiritual growth all across our community.
All of this is the fruit of prayer, serving, and generosity poured out by countless people who believed God could do something extraordinary here in the Huntsville/Madison metro. Hundreds of volunteers have served thousands of hours in outreach, meeting practical needs and sharing the love of Christ with our neighbors. Because of their sacrifice, Daystar Madison isn’t just a church building—it’s a thriving movement where lives are changed, families are restored, and the gospel is going out stronger than ever before!
God is doing incredible things and this is still just the beginning! We believe there is so much more that God wants to do. As we continue to pray, give generously, and serve; Community transformation through the Love and Power of Jesus is becoming a reality!

This year, our Online Campus grew into a living, breathing community where people from all walks of life gathered for worship, teaching, and mutual encouragement. Our Digital Prayer Rooms continued as sacred spaces where hearts were laid bare, burdens were lifted, and hope was renewed in real time. Beyond the livestream, our Facebook group became the heartbeat of our campus—streams of testimonies, prayer requests, and spiritual moments wove us together across cities and continents. Whether you joined from your home, a hotel room, or the far side of the globe, you found a genuine campus experience that feels like home.
As we look ahead, we’re doubling down on the vibrant life unfolding in our Facebook community. We’ll equip Online Hosts and Community Leaders to spark meaningful conversations, celebrate milestones, and walk alongside new faces. We’re dreaming up fresh, exclusive content created specifically for our online campus—designed to help each person grow deeper in their walk with God on their own schedule. Together, we’ll continue building “Community transformation through the love and power of Jesus Christ” by breaking down walls—geographic, cultural, and personal—and inviting everyone into the life-changing story of Jesus.

As people become more connected online and through social media, we become more disconnected from God and each other.
This year, we have kicked off a new ministry called Adopt-a-Block. This outreach ministry gives people the opportunity to go into different communities each week to build relationships, meet tangible needs, and share the love and power of Jesus.
Along with this new ministry, we continue to see Choose Life grow even more. Not only are we helping more families financially, but we have also launched our new Choose Life Care Teams. These teams are boots-on-the-ground people who not only connect with families but also meet practical needs like shopping for groceries, connecting people to small groups, and providing transportation. Even in the early stages of these teams, we’re already seeing God move in big ways and do big things!

Daystar Missions has made a difference in the lives of many people around the world this year. In 2023, we purchased 12 acres of land in the Kasese region to begin developing Daystar Village. Initial construction began in 2024 and includes a primary school and a home for children.
Our Legacy focus in 2025, on students both locally and globally, has enabled us to complete the boys’ and girls’ dormitories and bathhouses, temporary classrooms, administrative offices, and staff housing. Two new dormitories are now 70% complete and will soon provide housing for 200 more orphans and at-risk children.
Uganda holds a special place in Daystar’s heart, but our Missions efforts stretch far beyond its borders, with powerful ministry taking place in several countries around the world.

Since January 2025, 42 people have traveled with our missions teams, completing three impactful trips to Uganda.
Through these journeys we:
Reached 7 impoverished communities
Graduated 12 certified tailors
Celebrated the Grand Opening of Lighthouse Primary School and Home for Children at Daystar Village
Served more than 11,374 people
Transitioned two homeless street children into boarding schools
Participants raised and invested over $216,150 to make these trips happen
Witnessed 1,172 souls come to Christ

Daystar Missions introduced Freedom, an in-depth biblical experience designed to empower people to live in Christ’s victory, to the Kasese region of Uganda, where Daystar Village Lighthouse School is being built. 72 participants and 14 leaders completed the 12-week small group journey and Freedom Conference. To date, more than 900 Ugandan disciples have experienced Freedom!

Daystar School of Ministry is a brand-new 26-week evening program designed to equip adult learners to lead themselves and others with confidence and purpose. Through engaging teaching, interactive discussions, and hands-on ministry labs, participants grow in biblical knowledge, practical skills, and spiritual awareness.
With a focus on making an eternal impact, this program empowers students to live out the Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations...” (Matthew 28:19)
