Tithing: Trusting God First
Tithing is an act of worship and trust. It's a way of putting God first in our finances by returning the first 10% of what He's given us. This biblical practice is a reminder that everything we have comes from Him, and it helps align our hearts with His priorities.
We’ve seen God move in powerful ways through the faithfulness of our church family, and we believe He will be faithful to you as you honor Him in this way.
In fact, Scripture invites us to test God's provision when we tithe:
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, ” says the Lord Almighty,
“and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

Living a Life of Generosity
You can’t out-give God—but living generously changes everything. God has lavished us with grace, mercy, and the ultimate gift—Jesus. His generosity inspires us to give not just out of obligation, but from a heart of gratitude. We often talk about radical generosity because we believe it reflects God’s heart and transforms lives. Above and beyond the tithe, we invite you to give toward specific opportunities that are making a real difference—whether it’s missions, outreach, or supporting families in need. We were created to be generous, and we’re honored to help you step into that calling.
Giving by Cash or Check?
If you would like to give by cash or check, you can mail your offering to our Daystar Central Offices. Please label the envelope with Attn: Giving, and put the fund you are giving towards in the memo line on your check or a note with your cash offering. Thank you for your generosity!

Ways to Give
Financial giving through the church is done in two ways: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches that we worship the Lord by bringing Him our tithe, which is 10% of our income. When we give in addition to our tithe, it’s called an offering.
God tells us in His Word that He loves a cheerful giver, which is why we always want to create opportunities to give as He leads us and with a cheerful heart, through no obligation.

Online Giving
If you prefer, you can still give during one of our weekend or midweek services by filling out a provided envelope and placing it in one of the offering containers. You can use this envelope to give by cash or check. Envelopes and offering containers will be made available at each location.
