Work Week:  Sunday - Thurs

General Description of Role:  

To provide oversight, vision, and support for NextGen ministries (birth through 12th grade students) at each Daystar Campus. To also provide training opportunities, mentoring, and guidance for the staff leaders who direct these areas at each Daystar Campus. 

*Some of the specific duties/responsibilities of this role include…... 

• Host regularly scheduled team meetings and lead Student and Kids Pastor development

• Develop a yearly ministry calendar

• Write, develop, format, and/or choose yearly curriculum for each area of NextGen Ministry

• Cast vision for NextGen outreach or mission opportunities

• Provide training and leadership development for all key Student and Kids Ministry team leaders

• Plan and oversee the yearly budget for each ministry

• Provide vision, help plan, and provide global oversight for Student and Kids Camps, UNITE events, Kids/Family events, Leader Retreats, etc. 

• Provide vision for and encourage all NextGen Pastors to be visible and active in local schools  

• Provide programming and/or vision for kids and student worship services, small groups, and special events

• Provide policies and help train leaders at each campus regarding medical emergency policies and safety procedures for both ministries

• Provide parenting resources and encouragement to families

• Work alongside the Campus Pastors to share vision, determine needs, suggest projects and improvements for the NextGen ministry at each campus

• The Global NextGen Pastor/Director will be a part of the Daystar Staff Global Team led by the Executive Pastor
